Arriving in Panama
Most of our guests arrive via Tocumen Airport in Panama City. Upon arrival
you will then need to obtain transportation to David City in Chiriqui,
either by bus, rental car (most major rental car companies are available) or
by plane. If you arrive in Panama City early enough it is possible to fly to
David City the same day.
A taxi from the airport to Panama City should cost $40 or less, for two
people and luggage. We have a favorite taxi driver, Victor, (kinda
bilingual- speak slowly) cell phone number 507-6683-2707, make sure to
mention our Resort.

have a continental breakfast, but if you are catching the earliest flight,
it will not be set up yet. You can buy a cup of coffee and a breakfast
treat at the airport.

BY CAR:
From Panama City: There are numerous car rental agencies but we
recommend that you reserve a vehicle before leaving home, and remember to
get a confirmation number. (Avis, Budget, Hertz...) . If you want to drive to
David City from Panama City, about a 6 hour drive, a regular car will be
fine. We can pick you up in David City or at the airport.
For
some reason there are additional fees for dropping a rental car off at the airport so you might want to turn it in at the car rental company in
David City. We also suggest that you use your American Express Gold as
they automatically cover the insurances, check with American Express. (These
insurances really make the car rental costs go way up.)

and paste) these directions: We have "Gone Fishing Panama Resort" signs posted
